Biography
Bertha Chen completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley and Doctorate of Medicine from Stanford University School of Medicine. She is Professor of Ob/Gyn and Urology (by courtesy) at Stanford University School of Medicine and co-Chief of the Division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. Her research focus is in stem cell pluripotency and mesenchymal differentiation, and stem cell based therapy for urinary incontinence. She has published more than 55 papers in reputed journals.
