Prof. Andrzej Lange, MD, FRCP graduated with a medical degree with distinction from the Medical School in Wrocław, Poland is a professor in the Institute of Immunology and Exp Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a founder and head of the Lower Silesian Center of Cellular Transplantation in Wrocław. His international experience started in 1973 – 1974 as a Leverhulme Fellow in the Middlesex Hospital Medical School, London. He has been a visitor and lectured in a number of European and North American scientific institutions. Known from his activity in the field of bone marrow transplantation and regenerative medicine. Prof. Lange was awarded with several scientific distinctions and served to a number of National and European institutions being also active in co-editing journals. He is an author and co-author of 249 scientific papers, in peer-reviewed journals with a cumulative IF of 270 in the years 1995–2017

Study of Physics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) (Moscow), PhD in Physics obtained from the MIPT and the P.N. Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 1981. From 1981 to 1995, scientific employee at the P.N. Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow. In addition also assistant professor at the MIPT from 1987 to 1988. Professor Chichkov joined the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) in 1995 and was a scientific employee until 1997. In 1997, he completed his habilitation at the University of Hannover (now: Leibniz Universität Hannover). From 1997 to 2000, associate professor at the Institute for Quantum Optics (IQ), University of Hannover. From 2001 to 2004, Head of the Strategy Group of the LZH. Since 2004, Professor Chichkov is Head of the Nanotechnology Department at the LZH and he obtained a W3 professorship for Nanoengineering at the IQ of the University of Hannover in 2009.

Dr. James Holmes joined the faculty at Wake Forest School of Medicine in 2006 as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and is currently the Medical Director of the Burn Center. He received a cross-appointment to the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine in January 2008. Dr. Holmes has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on all aspects of burn care. Dr. Holmes is currently active in burn surge capacity and burn disaster management in the State of North Carolina.

His current research interests range from all aspects of burn care to patient safety improvements and surgical quality of care initiatives.

Denis Barritault graduated in Physics, completed his PhD in biochemistry in Paris University. Post doctoral in molecular immunology at Pasteur Institute and NYU as NIH Fogarty Fellow he joined INSERM unit in Paris as developmental biologist. He made the first description and patents of FGF extracted from retina in 1979 and 82 as skin and cornea healing agent, became full professor at Paris East university in 1985, founded and directed a CNRS Laboratory on cell and tissue regeneration until 2003. He is now President of OTR3, Emeritus professor and author in over 200 publications and 31 patents.

Dr Sang-Bing Ong is an Assistant Professor in Cardiovascular Medicine at Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. Having graduated from the Hatter Cardiovascular Institute in University College London (UCL), UK with a PhD in Medicine, he then moved to the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in the States for postdoctoral research His research interests and focus spans the fields of cardiac mitochondrial dynamics, cardiac autophagy and cardiac regeneration, with the ultimate aim of achieving cardioprotection. Dr Ong’s research group in Singapore is funded by the Singapore Ministry of Health National Medical Research Council and the Estate of Tan Sri Khoo Teck Puat, Singapore.
